Where It All Began...
Back in 2004, Mark started
on a helpdesk providing support services to users of a major telecommunications
company who at the time were migrating their IT provision from Windows NT to Windows XP. Moving up in ranks with further organisations, he finally stopped as a department manager overseeing the complete IT solutions for a local charity.
Having been a skilled ICT professional with over 11 years of
practical experience within private, charitable sectors and corporate IT, in January 2015 Mark had ideas of setting up his own IT company and began to in his spare time. When later on in the year, cut backs were being made at the company he worked for, being made redundant allowed him to focus on his "little side line". Although at the time it didn't appear to be, it was probably the best thing to happen as now we watch Getting IT Working steadily grow and become a recognised name in IT (all be it locally...for now!)
